What stays on your device
Wheel entries, titles, options, winner history and lineups are saved in your browser’s local storage so they’re there next time. They’re never sent to our server. You can delete them by clearing site data in your browser.
Share links
When you create a share link, your list is encoded inside the link itself. We don’t store a copy. Anyone with the link can see the list, so share it with care, especially if it has students’ names.
What our host sees
Like any website, our hosting provider handles standard request data (IP address, browser type, page requested) to deliver pages and stop abuse. We don’t use cookies or sell data, and our only statistics are the anonymous page counts described on this page.
Children
SpinnWheel doesn’t ask for personal information and has no accounts, so it’s suitable for classroom use. Teachers can use initials instead of names.

What we don’t collect
- No accounts, names, emails or passwords, unless you email us yourself.
- No cookies, advertising trackers or tracking pixels.
- No third-party fonts. Fonts are served from our own domain.
- No copy of your wheels, entries or results on our servers.
Anonymous visit statistics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, so we know which wheels people use. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify you. For each visit it records the page address, the referring site, your country, and your device and browser type, and visits are not linked across days.
It never receives what you type into a wheel. Share links carry your list in the address, so we strip that part before any page view is sent.
Offline app and cache
To work offline, the site stores its own files (pages, scripts, icons and fonts) in your browser’s cache through a service worker. This cache contains the website, not your data, and it updates itself when we publish changes.
How to delete everything
- Open your browser’s settings for this site. In Chrome, click the icon left of the address and choose Site settings.
- Choose Clear data or Delete data.
- That removes your wheels, history, options and the offline copy. Nothing remains with us, because we never had it.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we’ll update this page first and change the date at the bottom. The most recent change added the anonymous visit statistics described above.
If you email us
When you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you report. We don’t add you to a mailing list. Ask us to delete your messages at any time and we will.
Hosting
The site is static files served by our hosting provider. Like every web host, it processes basic request data to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That data stays with the host for security and isn’t combined with anything you type into a wheel, because that never leaves your device.
